Who are we?

 

Nana Maren NGO was established after the February 17 Revolution in the Nafusa Mountains and was officially registered on February 20, 2012. The organization is named after an ancient Amazigh scholar who lived in the 3rd century AH in the Nafusa Mountains. She was known for her wisdom, knowledge, and her role in promoting peace and positive change within her community. Her home was a place where people sought advice and guidance. Today, Nana Maren carries on this legacy by empowering communities and promoting sustainable development.

  • Promoting Economic Development: Encouraging entrepreneurship, small businesses, and local cultural initiatives through training and resources, helping communities build sustainable livelihoods.
