Nana Maren Association participated in an introductory session with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Dr. Sophie Kimkhadze, along with several representatives from civil society organizations from across Libya.
During the meeting, Nana Maren discussed the challenges facing civil society organizations in Libya and highlighted its role in promoting peace, empowering women and youth, supporting environmental sustainability, and democratic governance. The organization also exchanged views on ways to enhance partnerships for achieving sustainable and inclusive development.
Dr. Sophie commended the efforts of civil society organizations, emphasizing the importance of joint action to empower marginalized groups and ensure no one is left behind.
Nana Maren believes that overcoming challenges requires collaboration and sustainable planning, and will continue its commitment to supporting local communities and leading positive change on the ground.
