The President and members of the Board of Directors of Nana Maren Association, along with a distinguished group of representatives from civil society organizations in Libya, participated in a specialized training program on humanitarian crisis management. This program was organized by the Humanitarian Leadership Academy (HLA) in the Middle East and North Africa region, in collaboration with the regional office of Save the Children.
The training program targeted 16 participants from local and regional organizations in Libya and Syria, as well as other regional organizations. The training focused on enhancing participants’ abilities to handle humanitarian crises and disasters.
The program included key topics such as:
- Factors and stages of crisis management
- Emergency planning and preparedness
- Risk analysis associated with crises
- Continuous assessment and learning after response
This participation reflects Nana Maren Association’s commitment to enhancing the skills of its staff in humanitarian work, leveraging best global practices to ensure an effective and sustainable response to crises, thereby strengthening the association’s ability to serve affected communities both in Libya and beyond.
